Our Philosophy
Founded by Carol Loureiro, The Soft Reset is a professional wellness practice devoted to creating a calm, judgment-free space for meaningful rest and reconnection. Each experience is thoughtfully personalized to honor the client’s emotional and energetic needs, inviting a slower pace and a grounded sense of ease.
The practice currently centers on Reiki and intuitive tarot and oracle readings. Carol is a licensed massage therapist in Massachusetts and is working toward licensure in Rhode Island, with therapeutic massage planned as a new offering in 2027 following completion of the Rhode Island licensing process.

How It Works
Step One
Before Your Session
Come as you are. Wear something comfortable, stay hydrated, and take a moment to think about what you’d like support or clarity around. For readings, you’re welcome to bring questions—but you don’t need to have everything figured out.
Step Two
During Your Session
We’ll begin with a quick check-in and set an intention together. From there, your only job is to relax and receive. Whether we’re working with Reiki, Tarot + Oracle cards, or both, your session will unfold at a pace that feels comfortable and personal to you.
Step Three
After Your Session
Give yourself a little space to settle back in. Drink plenty of water, take things slowly, and notice any thoughts, feelings, or insights that come up afterward. Journaling or simply enjoying some quiet time can be a beautiful way to integrate your experience.

The Soft Reset continues to evolve alongside its community. While Carol currently focuses on Reiki and intuitive guidance, the practice is preparing to introduce therapeutic massage. This growth is a reflection of her commitment to holistic healing—nurturing the corpo, mente, and alma with the same unhurried presence that defines her life and work.
